IDETSA FIBRA was born in 2015 to provide service to the Industrial areas Les Tapies I and II. By the end of 2016, the optical fiber got to the center of the village in the area located between Llastres river, Vía Augusta Street, Mora Road in Hospitalet and the railway line. In April 2018 the service was extended into the area which is limited by Vía Augusta, Masriudoms, Vandellòs, Jonquet, the Seafront, Marina square, Jaume II – Compte Prades and Llastres Streets, to connect with the Marina.

At the beginning of 2020, the area between the Auditorium and Arenal was provided with optical fiber. A year later it has been extended to the rest of the municipality, giving service to the villages of Vandellòs, Masboquera, Masriudoms and Vanessa Park. In autumn 2020, IDETSA FIBRA was the first company in providing optical fiber service to the area of Pino Alto from Mont-Roig del camp. It is foreseen that by the winter 2021 will be extended to the whole of Miami Platja village.

By the end of 2021, it is foreseen to be displayed and give service in Pratdip and besides, to all the rest of Hospitalet de l’Infant.
